After a brief spell of absence I’m pleased to be back unboxing and reviewing!
Where better to start than with Peachy Packages, a beautifully curated box for stationary lovers. This box promises high quality stationary, along with comforts such as chocolate gifts and beverages. I have to admit, a good hot drink and something to snack on whilst writing reviews always helps things progress along rather nicely!
Peachy Packages can be purchased as a renewing monthly subscription, prepaid 3 monthly or prepaid 6 monthly. Each months curated box can also be purchased as a one-off, ideal if you’re intrigued and want to know more without committing to a full subscription.
Subscription prices are as follows:
- 1 month renewing subscription £35 per month
- 3 month prepaid subscription £95 – SAVING OF £10
- 6 month prepaid subscription £175 – SAVING OF £35
It’s also worthwhile noting I have not included any postage and packaging prices in my information above. This is for one reason……there is none! That’s correct, the price above includes postage and packaging, very rare from a subscription box. On the subject of postage, this delightful box is delivered via Royal Mail and posted out on or around the 28th of every month.
What’s inside I hear you all scream…………
Well if you watched the live unboxing, you will know my eldest daughter Kaitlen helped with the unboxing of this Peachy Package and in case you missed it, you can watch it back on our YouTube Channel here…
The contents were as follows:
Dovecraft Essentials Premium Pigment Ink Pad (Gold) – Approximately £1.50
This beautiful gold pigment ink pad will add a little glam and glitz to your stationary. Non-toxic, acid free and child safe makes this item an easy decision when using around the home. Kaitlen immediately declared this, among many other items within the box, was hers! This ink pad was in addition also to…..
The Busy Days Stamp by Boxclever Press – £4.99
This rotary stamp is a fantastic idea for the mundane ‘to do’ list and comes with 11 phrases in built, plus 1 memo for everyday use. Phrases such as ‘remember’ and ‘shopping’ are big winners and when used with the gold ink pad make my shopping list look that little more glamorous!
The Busy Days Stickers (Events/Occasions/Activities) – £4.49
This sticker set is a really cute and quirky way of brightening up any work you have or lists created. It features 6 pages of slogans and words, of which 3 pages are gold foiled! These stickers, along with the stamp, can also be used with other Busy Days items such as a planner from the same set. I really like the idea of matching stationary and this ticks the boxes for me.
Sara Miller London Flamingo ‘Just a Note’ Cards (2) – Approximately £1.39
These beautiful flamingo cards, with accompanying envelopes, are a fantastic addition to this subscription box. I know from making up many boxes I always like to pop a little ‘thank you’ card in with items, these cards would be perfect. The cards are made very sturdy, not flimsy like some you may purchase, and come textured with gold foil embossing.
The cards can be purchased as a pack of 10 for £6.95, I’ve averaged the price out as above to reflect this.
Pilot Frixion Light Pen in Soft Green – Approximately £2.50
This soft green highlighter is a marvel, especially for my eldest daughter to use! I can’t count the amount of times I’ve seen her write something only to then scribble through it. With a pen that is also erasable it makes homework a doddle!
Portico Designs Lotus A5 Journal – Approximately £10
With gold foil edging, vibrant turquoise and pink design and elastic tie this A5 journal is the box winner for me. I love a good note book and this is just the correct size for my handbag, I always carry one for shopping ideas!
Tidy Emu A4 Multicoloured Notepad – £6.55
How many times have you used a large piece of paper to jot little things down and then wasted the rest? I know I for one am guilty of this! This clever A4 notepad, with its brightly coloured sections, helps to organise your thoughts and lists more efficiently. Another fantastic pick for this wonderfully thought out box!
Wickedly Welsh Chocolate Company Mint Crunch in Devilish Dark Chocolate 100g – £3.99
Wow! I love chocolate! I love this chocolate!
Rich in taste, this chocolate slab didn’t disappoint at all. The mint flavour cut through the richness, whilst the bubble like texture make it gentle on the palette. That’s not all, a slight crunch in the texture added a new dimension, absolute pleasure to eat!
We Are Tea Moroccan Mint Green Tea 30g – £2.99
Light and refreshing, this mint green tea surprised me. I’m normally a lemon green tea fan and have never liked the idea of mint tea, but was open minded when I decided to give these a whirl. The mint flavour obviously becomes more intense the longer you leave the teabag to infuse, the recommended time is 1-2 minutes. I left mine for approximately a minute as I was unsure of the taste and didn’t want it too strong. I can honestly say the taste was pleasant and refreshing, especially combined with the chocolate slab within the box!
So, do I think this box is worth the asking price of £35? Most definitely. I can utilise everything within this box, a must when purchasing a monthly subscription box. I adore the fact that this has been curated by someone who obviously understands the need for pretty but effective stationary. The fact that this box also includes the staple items of chocolate and tea is a big winner for me.
If I had to select an overall favourite item within this box it would have to be the Lotus A5 journal, absolutely beautiful whilst functional.
As a mother to a teenage girl I also feel this box is perfectly aimed at that age group. Kaitlen requires umpteen notebooks, jotters and pens. The ordinary can be very boring at times, this is anything but ordinary and makes using these items more enjoyable for teenage girls.
However, for Kaitlen the chocolate bar was the hands down winner!
