Medusa’s Makeup is an American brand that has its very own beauty subscription box that ships internationally. Their makeup is cruelty free and vegan, I love supporting brands that are cruelty free as I think we should all be more aware of where our makeup comes from and how it is made. This is a box I am proud to support as they have great ethics as well as great products. Each month you will receive a delivery of 3-4 full size items. Another plus to this box is that you can cancel anytime and re subscribe as you wish.
The box arrived within 3 days of them posting which is brilliant, especially when it has been shipped from the USA! It is letter box sized so no need to worry about being in to receive your parcel. The box is made of fully recyclable cardboard with a very pretty design over it, including their logo. As I have said this can either be recycled or reused to store bits and bobs in!
If you missed my live unboxing you can watch it back here on our YouTube channel:

The price point:
Medusa’s Makeup box will set you back £20.13 a month, this includes shipping and handling costs so there are no surprise bills. This month’s box has a value of £28.39 saving you £8.26. Their boxes will always see you saving money as the items value are more than what you pay for the box.
Thoughts on the products:
I am so impressed with the pigmentation of this lippy! Two swipes will give you full coverage enhancing your lips with this neon orange, summery shade. I would say it has a satin finish so is very comfortable on the lips and not drying.
Eye shadow primer
This was one of the products I was most looking forward to trying. It is great to use an eye shadow primer to help your eye shadow stay on all day/night and enhance any colours/glitters you are using. The consistency is a bit unusual, I was expecting it be like a concealer but it is more like a gel. It comes out clear rather than nude which was a surprise but I did find it made my eye shadow last longer!
Although this may seem like a small pot at first there is actually quite a lot of product, enough to use at least 10 times. I like to use this on top of a glitter glue to help it stick and stay in place. I would also recommend using a flat eye shadow brush to apply or your finger. The glitter is reflective and definitely eye catching. Great for adding some sparkle to your life!
Baked eye shadow
This eye shadow is insanely pigmented. It gives great colour pay off straight away and is easy to blend. The shade radical is a bright purple with a slight shimmer. These are the types of colours I like to use in the evenings or when going to events. My favourite look with this eye shadow is a dark smoky eye and this baked eye shadow along my lower lash line, it gives a pop of colour whilst tying in with the rest of the look.
So do I think this box is worth your coin?! If you are someone that is into makeup, whether you have just started or a professional then this box would be great for you. The products are all cruelty free and vegan which is great and this box can help you to use more ethically sourced products. Each month you will receive 3 – 4 full size makeup items, this surprise will inspire you to try different looks each month and would also make a great gift! The ordering process is easy and delivery is quick, these things make it an enjoyable experience with no stress involved. So what are you waiting for?
