The Natural Beauty Box Review by Mel – April 2018

I last reviewed this box back in February, when Emma very kindly asked me to. I loved it so much; I wanted to put my money where my mouth is and sign up! But I didn’t jump on it fast enough to get the March box and it had sold out! I am still kicking myself over it. So I wasted no time to sign up to ensure I did not miss out on the April box.

I message Emma on Facebook, so I know that this box ships out around the 20th of the month via Royal Mail. I am also a member of her new Facebook Group, which is brilliant for those in need of some Cruelty Free Beauty advice. If you would like to join you can do so here: Natural Beauty Club

I literally couldn’t wait to unbox this; I have never showered so fast in my life, ha! If you missed my unboxing, you can now watch it back on our YouTube Channel here…

Villiers London Floral Face Steam

This smells so good, you just know it is going to be good for you by the scent. You add 1-2 heaped tablespoons to a bowl of boiling water (so 2), and pop your face over the bowl! Voila! Put a teatowel over your head to help keep the steam enclosed.

I felt so refreshed, and my entire kitchen smelt beautiful!

Bloomtown Blue Clay & Indigo Leaf Soothing Mask

So according to my other half, who was on FaceTime to me while I was testing this out, it makes me look like a Smurf! Well Rob, you should know by now that it doesn’t matter what I look like while wearing it, it is afterwards that counts!

The formula of this is really thick, so you need to be heavy handed with it to ensure it spreads evenly. I have a mask brush which really helps.

I could feel a warming and tingling sensation while wearing it, it does not set dry like some clay masks, and it claims to not dry out your skin afterwards either. I have used Bloomtown items before and have enjoyed them. This is going to last me a while and I am a fan of Clay Masks at the moment. My favourite type sets me back the pricely sum of £35! So I am very pleased that I can now use this too and save myself some money.

When removing it, use a microfibre cloth to clear away the majority, and rinse your face with water for the stubborn leftover bits around your nose and eyebrows. My face was left feeling really smooth and cleansed. Big thumbs up!

BYBI Buffer Lip Scrub

I was chuffed to bits with this! I have a secret pet hate, lip scrubs in a jar! I love lip scrubs but when you get half way down the jar I really struggle to get it out without flicking it all over. This is one item I will definitely be re purchasing. I love the taste, and it also leaves a balm like texture on your lips after the scrub has gone. Brilliant item, it is now bye bye Lush Lip scrub and this is the new replacement for me.

PHB Ethical Brightening Eye Gel

Be careful when squeezing this out as I did not realise it was going to escape so fast! It is a gel, best used after storing in the fridge. I have been using it every night, but it is too soon to tell if it is making a difference yet. I had run out of all of my eye creams though so again another item I will be using all of.

Myroo Skin Boost Serum

My favourite item in the box has to be this serum! It is a very generous size, has the pipette which I am a fan of for applying it too. The giveaway to me if an oil based product is good quality is when you pop a droplet on your face and it doesn’t run quickly. This absolutely passes that test.

I am told after chatting on the Natural Beauty Group to use floral water on my face, acting as a toner, before using this. So I really need to buy one now.

I can honestly say that the following mornings after using this I have noticed a considerable difference in the softness of my skin. I absolutely love a serum, and this has just gone straight to the top of my list of the best I have used. With an RRP of £30, this is worth more than the entire cost of the box!! Wow indeed!

My Verdict?

If you have got this far without googling the Website to head on over and subscribe, then the links are below. This is my favourite box at the moment.  I keep telling BoXession members all about it, and urging them to sign up so that they do not miss out before they sell out, as they do every month.

I cannot praise Emma highly enough, she loves what she does, and she is bringing some amazing products to my door for a fraction of the retail price. I will be using every single item in this months box until they run out, and I have saved myself a small fortune. When it comes to subscription boxes, you can’t ask for more than that!

So be quick, don’t wait like I did. Beauty shouldn’t have to hurt our furry friends, ditch the boxes that don’t support stamping out animal testing and get all over this one…
