What I thought

Joe & Seph’s Simply Range Sea Salted Popcorn

Popcorn in my opinion, is the best thing since sliced bread, sweet or savoury most flavours work well with popcorn. I tend to sway more towards the sweet flavours rather than the savoury ones but these are not too salty at all and were extremely light and airy. With only 93 calories these are the perfect guilt free treat to snack on. Absolutely delicious, they were gone within a few minutes of opening! Opps!

Raw Bake Station Coco Loco

For a healthy snack I can’t believe how amazing the taste and flavour is! All the ingredients are natural and pure and this is really reflected in the taste, almost similar to a bounty but sooo much better. I am so impressed with this devilishly delicious sweet treat that I will absolutely be stocking up on more. Enjoy all the pleasure without the guilt!

Primroses’ Kitchens Raw Beetroot & Ginger Muesli

I usually prefer granola to muesli but I was amazed by how nice this was. The ginger is strong without being too overpowering, it has a nice spicy tang to wake you up in the morning. It has lots of crunchy nuts and seeds as well as the beetroot which turns your milk pink. A healthy way to start the day with all the added goodness of natural wholefood ingredients.

Botanics Lab Plantmilk2 – Chocolate Yerba mate

I tried this product previously in the Life Box Restore edition. It was not to my taste then and unfortunately still isn’t to my taste now. It may be a good alternative for those who can’t or don’t drink milk or are looking for a healthy milkshake type substitute. For me, the creamy coconut and the chocolate aren’t quite balanced enough as the bitter after taste made it hard for me to finish drinking.

Moya Matcha Traditional To-Go! Sachet

Moya Matcha To Go! is a handy form of organic matcha tea packed into single dose sachets that can be prepared hot or cold. This little sachet really packs a punch, it is an intense green colour with a delicate tea flavour. On the first few sips I found it very bitter and had to add sugar to balance out the bitterness but after that it made for a nice cup of tea and I enjoyed drinking it. Perfectly suited for drinking in traditional form, as well as for making matcha latte, matcha smoothies and cocktails. Tastes clean, healthy and great for detoxing.

Naturya Superfood Organic Greens Blend Sachet

This little sachet is bursting with nutrients, it is rich in iron, zinc, protein, fibre, vitamin E and vitamin B12 and is a source of vitamin C. It’s a great way to get goodness into your body and I do feel like it gave me a burst of energy – exactly what I need to get me going in the morning. I mixed this into my morning smoothie, but it can also be enjoyed with juice or mixed with food. A quick and effective way to get some much-needed nutrients into your diet.

The Food Doctor Beetroot & Walnut Goodness Bar

I was a little wary of the flavour combination as it’s not something I would think to put together but it did work quite well and I was surprised how good the beetroot tasted with the walnut. Just the right amount of sweetness to it and I liked the fact that it’s healthy and full of goodness, the only criticism I would say is that it’s too small a size to really appreciate the taste – two bites and it’s all gone. Excellent for anyone looking for a tasty wholesome snack on the go.

New Kings Coffee Bag – Medium Roast (Tasting notes: almond & toffee)

I’ve mentioned before that I’m not a lover a coffee so this was given to my partner to taste test as he is the coffee drinker in our house. Instead of a coffee sachet this ground (not instant!) coffee comes in a coffee bag, making coffee brewing a simple, convenient and easy process – pop in a mug add water & optional milk and sugar. My partner likes his coffee strong and black, he said the bag produced a good strength coffee that tasted smooth and delicious and one he would consider purchasing again.

Teapigs Snooze Tea Bag

I received a bag of this in the Lifebox Restore edition and since then I drink it occasionally. The taste is so soothing, with a blend of apples and flowery hints of lavender and chamomile, it instantly makes me feel relaxed. Although said to help improve sleep this doesn’t make me sleepy but I do find it very comforting to drink.

Willy Chase’s Apple Cider Vinegar

Made purely from their 300-year-old untouched apple orchards – a humble home to 48 varieties of apples. Aside from being a fantastic cooking ingredient, it is often referred to as ‘The Mother of all-natural remedies’ thanks to its acclaimed health benefits, many of which are supported by science. This includes weight loss, reduced cholesterol, lower blood sugar levels and improved symptoms of diabetes. I was sceptical about how this would taste but it wasn’t that bad once you get used it. The taste is pretty strong but bearable, I have 2 teaspoons in a glass of warm water with the juice of half a lemon and a squeeze of honey to add a little sweetness to the acid.

The Jam Goddess Mini Chia Fruit Spread

I said in my previous review that I hardly ever eat jam but since trying vegan jam I have been totally converted. I love how the use of natural ingredients make a huge difference in taste as the fresh fruit flavour is so much better compared to jams that have additives and preservatives in. So, I’m over the moon to have received more wonderful jam!

A fabulous selection of three innocently indulgent flavours in one cute little parcel:

– Strawberry & Raspberry Chia Seeds
– Mixed Summer fruit & Chia Seeds
– Blueberry & Chia Seeds

These jams will make your toast burst with flavour and tingle your taste buds in all the right places. They taste super amazing and even more amazing, they have 70% less calories than normal jam (less than 15 calories per jar). A 100% delicious jammy treat that you’ll want to eat again and again. I don’t think I’ll ever buy store brand jam ever again.

Neat Nutrition Vegan Protein Food Supplement – Chocolate Flavour

Designed to help repair and support the creation of lean muscles, this post-workout shake is made with a nutrient-rich mix of Pea and Hemp – it’s also packed with amino acids and plant proteins to support digestive health. From time to time I will drink protein shakes especially when I’m going to the gym on a regular basis. Really good taste and good quality however due to it not having added nasties (such as fillers, preservatives and cheap, often synthetic ingredients, high salt and added refined sugar) it doesn’t mix as well as others I’ve had but I would 100% rather it not mixes as well than be filled with unnecessary ingredients.

Gluten free | Soya free | Lactose free | GMO free | Hormone free | Vegan

KamAlive Passionfruit Cream Centre Raw Chocolate Bar

Deliciously indulgent this gorgeous bar has a smooth passionfruit cream centre encased in a dark chocolate shell. Undeniably one for the chocolate lovers, the sweet passionfruit filling perfectly complements the bitterness of the 80% raw chocolate. Eaten and devoured within seconds this naughty but nice chocolate bar hits all the right spots.

Gluten free | Dairy free| Soya & egg free| Refined sugar fee |No GMO| No artificial ingredients |Vegan

Is it worth it?

A 1000% yes! Although not curated specifically for vegans or those who suffer with food intolerances, everything inside is suitable for vegetarians/vegans and free from gluten, dairy and refined sugars. I am neither vegan nor have any food intolerances but I love receiving this box. It’s a great way to add nutritious, delicious food and treats into my daily routine as every monthly box has at least 12 superfoods and health goodies/beverages which are specifically tailored for everyone to integrate in their lifestyle. Aside from that, they are offering an exceptional set of boxes which boasts not just healthy snacks but also workout cards and recipes, beverages, chocolate, nutrients and nibbles so it can make eating wholesome, pure, natural food exciting and enjoyable. For “on the go” lifestyles, take your goodies with you travelling, or to work, or keep some ingredients at home to incorporate into your homemade healthy cooking and baking. It is the perfect indulgent treat for you, or the ultimate gift for the health-conscious foodie.
