CC Beauty Review by Sam – January 2018

Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to Aqib Javed from CC Beauty for sending BoXession this month’s box to review.
I absolutely love love CC Beauty Box! This is one I regularly subscribe to, so imagine my excitement when I found out I would be reviewing it this month!
CC Beauty Box (in case you haven’t already heard me rave about it) sends you 4-5 normally full size high end items a month! Brands like Too Faced, Lancôme, Gucci, YSL and Dior just to name a few regularly get sent to your door for under £30 a month!
It gets better! They also have a generous points system too, 10 points to the pound! So it’s easy to build up an extra treat for yourself from the large selection of high end items on their website.
You can see my excitement and sheer delight in my live unboxing here and give me a cheeky like:

So into the box
It comes packed in a sleek black box branded with the CCBEAUTY logo. It is tied with a yellow bow and the items inside are wrapped in a faux silk cloth. Everything about this box screams high end treat!
What was in my luxurious January box?

MAC patent polish in look lively RRP £18
I already own and love this product, I brought it on the Beauty website with my points. It’s like a glossy, chunky crayon lipstick that glides on effortlessly, and the formula is not drying at all. It’s a perfect colour; not too in your face baby pink and wears well. It lasted around 6 hours on me before I needed to reapply.

YSL Cosmetics Case RRP £36
Omg how stunning is this! This is my new handbag essential. The sleek red studded case unzips to reveal a decent mirror (not like those flimsy cheap plastic ones) and comes with a hard removable black inlay tray. So you can use it with or without!
Being a huge YSL fan I know you can buy replacements for the compacts they sell so this would be perfect to customise your own pallet with. Not only that it would also make a brilliant custom pallet for those who like to depot or mix there own custom colours.
Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser RRP £14.50
This is a repeat but one I’m glad of! I’ve nearly run out from the massive tube I got a few months back. I’ve always found hot cloth cleansers add a touch of luxurious pampering to a boring daily chore. This cleanser is one of my favourites and I have been buying it for years. It is gentle on your skin and leaves you feeling clean, relaxed and refreshed.

Dior fluid stick 338 mirage RRP £26.50
Not a lipstick, not a gloss and not a stain! The revolutionary formula glides on so easily with the specially designed wand, and gives great colour, a glossy shine and a lightweight feel to lips more like a balm would feel. The shade I got was the most gorgeous milky nude coral and is going to be my go to shade for the spring summer months.

What’s not to love about this box?

I honestly couldn’t choose my favourite product this month! I’m always super excited for this box to arrive because this is a box that never fails to impress and amaze me and I’m admittedly very hard to please when it comes to makeup!
I believe cosmetics are a luxury and should feel like one, I want to feel like a million bucks when I put my make up on and this box helps me achieve that on a budget! Anyone that knows me will tell you CC Beauty is the first box I recommend to anyone that asks, it’s just always astounding value for money and amazingly luxurious! I have bought previous boxes and I will buy many future boxes, so I really have put my money where my mouth is with this box. So ditch the tiny samples and the boxes that fail to impress and get something truly amazing delivered every month!

Stuck for a gift idea?

Not anymore hint hint men of the world! I can’t see how any make up lover would dislike this box, it has timeless classics like Dior and more funky top of the line new brands such as Too Faced. This box is great for the young and the old. Even if you’re not a brand junkie like me, it gives you a great way to try out the higher end products for a snip of the price.
